Each year the Putnam City Public Schools Foundation offers a variety of scholarships to Putnam City students and teachers.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Scholarship applications may be submitted by any Putnam City faculty member who meets the scholarship requirements.

• Ralph Downs Scholarship
  Awarded yearly to a deserving Putnam City faculty member who wishes to take graduate or undergraduate courses in the subject areas of Administration or Counseling.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Scholarship applications will be accepted from all senior students of Putnam City schools who meet the scholarship requirements.

• Roger Barrios-This $250 scholarship is awarded to a Putnam City North senior who wishes to pursue a career in engineering, chemistry, physics, biology or technology.
• Carol Casey-This $1,500 scholarship is awarded to a Putnam City senior who intends to study for a health service degree in college.
• Clay Culver-This $500 scholarship is awarded to an outstanding 9th grade student attending Putnam City North.
• Dorothy Nixon-This $500 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior of Putnam City schools who benefited from the PEAK/Gifted & Talented program during elementary school and plans to pursue a career in teaching.
